Wireline Engineering serves its upstream oil and gas customers by developing innovative wireline and flow control products that add tangible value to their well intervention activities.

Mearns & Gill have just launched the new Wireline Engineering website showing the progression and developments of the company. This is the second website M&G have created for Wireline Engineering. Within the 'Technology' section of the site the client is delighted with the design capability of the Mearns & Gill digital team in producing top quality 'rendered' illustrations of the tools which all enhance how innovative Wireline Engineering are in their designs.

February '09 SeaEnergy Renewables

First Minister, the Rt Hon Alex Salmond, MSP, MP, officially opened the Westhill offices of SeaEnergy Renewables on Monday 16 February.

This coincided with the announcement that the company had been successful in bids for the development of significant offshore wind farms. Mearns & Gill was responsible for the creation of exhibition material and event management for the occasion.

February '09 St Andrews Prize for the Environment

Leading up to the closing date for entries of 31 October 08, an international press and on-line campaign was planned and executed encouraging entries for this now well established Environmental Prize, sponsored jointly by ConocoPhillips and the University of St Andrews.

As a result, there was a 36% increase in the number of entries for this year’s Prize. The winners will be announced in May. Mearns & Gill is responsible for the website, promotional activity and all PR associated with the initiative.

February '09 TAQA

A new name in Aberdeen, TAQA is already established as a major player in the North Sea. Mearns & Gill has been appointed to look after its event management requirements, the first of which took place at the Marcliffe in early February.

Other events taking place later in the year are at an advanced stage of planning – watch this space!

February '09 Lochter Activity Centre


Mearns & Gill has helped Lochter deliver a very successful email marketing campaign which has resulted in direct bookings for the company.

Initial analysis has shown that the emailer has had a higher than average response and click through rate.

February '09 Mearns & Gill Corporate Evening

Mearns & Gill hosted a 'Devilish Evening' for a performance of The Witches of Eastwick on the 10 February.

More than 30 ladies enjoyed themed cocktails and canapés before being wowed by star of the show, Marti Pellow!

January '09 Bibby Offshore

Mearns & Gill delivered another successful ‘town hall’ event for Bibby Offshore attended by over 100 employees.

December '08 Chevron Christmas Party

The ‘Space Invaders Ball’, event managed by Mearns & Gill at the AECC, was certainly a sight to behold! An abundance of wonderful and extravagant costumed guests really entered into the spirit of the event and entered the Tardis for a fabulous night of fun and entertainment.

The guests were greeted by Stormtroopers, a Dalek, Aliens and Robots. There was strong competition for the fancy dress contest! The guests enjoyed space arcade games, Robot Wars, laser tag games and glow jugglers, and then danced the night away. It was out of this world!

December '08 CLAN Silver Celebration

CLAN is a remarkable organisation, providing the most fantastic support to cancer sufferers and their families. As a contribution to their tireless fundraising efforts, Mearns & Gill designed and produced the Programme to support their Silver 25th Anniversary Celebration event at Ardoe House in December.

CLAN relies on charitable donations for its very existence, and the event raised a significant sum – as well as providing a splendid evening’s entertainment for all those who attended.

December '08 Parkhill Apartments

Mearns & Gill organised and directed photography for new client Parkhill Apartments. In addition, we designed a pre-Christmas email campaign and will execute further email campaigns during 2009.

December '08 Optimus Dentistry

We worked with new client Optimus Dentistry to create a brand identity and develop a marketing strategy for their launch campaign.

October '08 Arts & Business Scotland

Mearns & Gill helped to successfully deliver the 2008 Arts and Business Scotland Awards at Aberdeen Music Hall, including filming award sponsors, public relations support and event management on the evening.
